Jason Dixon’s career spans leadership roles at prominent organisations including IBM and Amazon Web Services where he led large multidisciplinary teams and drove business improvement initiatives across many industries. He possesses a valuable combination of strong business and client engagement skills coupled with deep technical knowledge and empathy. This has helped him build trusted relationships in the C-Suite to ensure business and technology alignment in all engagements, delivering mutual commercial value. Now he’s sharing this expertise with our Advent One teams at a crucial point in the company’s evolution and expansion of service offerings.

Jason’s background in law, coupled with his extensive leadership experience, uniquely positions him to navigate Advent One as a market leader in integrating, managing, and securing hybrid platforms.

Bob’s career has been an exciting journey in an ever-changing industry. After spending 28 years in corporate life at IBM, Bob founded Advent One in July 2000. Initially, as a one-man operation offering hardware, software and associated installation services, Bob confidently grew the organisation over the past 24 years. Today, it’s a robust and successful private company that supports Tier-1 corporate clients in managing, securing and innovating Hybrid IT environments.

Bob believes people are the key to success. “Whether by good management or simply good luck, we have a talented, ethical, and motivated team of employees and directors. Without them we would not have established our long-standing trusted relationships with our clients and strategic partners.” Bob’s belief in his people is the reason Advent One is 100% owned by its employees and directors, akin to a partnership. A strong balance sheet supports investment where it’s needed, always self-funded no external owners.

As Bob contemplates the inevitable end to his career, it’s with a great deal of pride and confidence he says, “Advent One is in good, competent, and caring hands”.

Prior to joining Advent One Peter had a 40-year career with IBM. He was General Manager Global Technology Services (GTS) for Australia/NZ from 2005-2013, leading the business to 8 years of unprecedented growth and success. He then moved to Amsterdam and became the General Manager for GTS for Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg for 2013-2016. He returned to work in Singapore leading IBM’s large deals until he retired in 2020.

Peter has always believed that the key to successful services businesses is its people and the delivery of services to clients. In addition, a strong management system that allows businesses to both scale and deliver consistent services is essential.

As Advent One transforms from a product to a services business, Peter believes that these principles will ensure growth and success. “Our services business is the key to Advent One’s future. The transformation we are going through will define Advent One for the next 10 years,” Peter commented.

John Twine is the former Chief Executive Officer of Advent One, now Non-Executive Director on the Advent One Board. His strategic vision positioned the company for success and continued growth trajectory. Having joined Advent one in 2019 as Sales Director, John demonstrated his expertise in client engagement and strategy, further solidifying Advent One’s position as a leader in the industry.

John commenced his technology career with IBM, where he honed his skills and expertise in client-facing roles. John’s passion for innovation and his keen understanding of the ever-evolving technology landscape led him to flourish within the multinational. During his tenure, at IBM John solidified his reputation as a trusted professional and astute senior business leader.

In 2015 John left IBM after 32 years and joined Hansen Technologies as the Global Head of Sales. John gained overseas experience working in the European and US markets.

Leon Kempler AM has been the National Chairman of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce since 1987 and holds other prestigious positions as the Life Governor of the General Sir John Monash Foundation and the International Adviser for the Israel Science, Technology & Innovation Policy Institute.

His commercial acumen is built on the backbone of prominent positions as the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Science and Technology Centre (2003-2022), the Director of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and a member of the Chancellor Circle at Deakin University. He has also been awarded The Jerusalem Prize, The Medal of the Order of Australia (1998) and in 2018 was designated as a Member of the Order of Australia.
